Mission Statement:

Established in 2014, CJM Entertainment Group, Inc. a non-profit 501c3 was founded with a mission to foster a vibrant and inclusive education and music to the community by empowering individuals to discover their artistic potential and inspiring audiences to connect with the transformative power of both music and film by providing unique presentations, such the educational mini-documentary, 

Tatia's Story written and produced on behalf of the Tatia Oden French Memorial Foundation, a film to educate and empower women around the issues of maternal mortality, the off-label use of drugs and informed consent.

Impact of Programs and Initiatives:

1. Bay Area Voice Lessons: Through Bay Area Voice Lessons, Director and Voice Coach, 

Carmen Jones offers singing lessons locally in the San Francisco East Bay Area, and internationally via Zoom. This program empowers aspiring singers of all ages and backgrounds, providing them with the tools and guidance to develop their vocal skills and express themselves through music. By nurturing talent and instilling confidence, Bay Area Voice Lessons helps individuals unlock their artistic potential and pursue their dreams.

2. Opportunities for Musicians: 

CJM Entertainment Group, Inc. is committed to providing opportunities for local musicians to perform and showcase their talents, including, but not limited to the 8 piece band, BlackRain, lead by Carmen Jones who performs a Tribute to the late singer, Teena Marie, along with original Carmen Jones music and more.  Since Teena Marie passed away in 2010 from an epileptic seizure, CJM donates a portion of funds from ticket sales to the Northern California Epilepsy Foundation in her honor.

By organizing concerts, community events, and collaborations, we create platforms for musicians to share their passion and connect with audiences. This initiative not only supports artists in their professional growth but also fosters a sense of camaraderie and collaboration within the musical community.
